Delta New York to Tel Aviv, Israel flights
Delta Air Lines is increasing passenger capacity between Israel and the United States by nearly 39 percent with the addition of Boeing 747-400 aircraft on its nonstop New York/Tel Aviv route. The 747 replaces the smaller 767-300ER aircraft and complements daily nonstop 777-200ER service to Atlanta. Since entering the Tel Aviv market in 2006, Delta has carried more than 870,000 customers between Israel and the United States. With the added seats on the New York route, Delta will offer more nonstop capacity between the United States and Israel than any of its U.S.-based competitors.
“Israel is an important market for Delta and the additional seats will provide our business and leisure customers with more options when flying to the United States, as well as boost inbound business and tourism,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We appreciate the continued loyalty of our customers who have contributed to the growth of our service between Israel and the United States during the past 4 years.”
