The Nece Tzedek neighborhood was the first Jewish neighborhood to be built outside of Jaffa at the beginning of 1887-22 years before the establishment Israeli Prime Minister, Yitzhak Rabin, at the Tel Aviv Municipality Building. Some of the graffiti, written on the night of assassination, are displayed at this location. The Yehoshua Gardens at located on the bank of the Yarkon River offering plenty of recreational facilities for the whole family including tropical gardens, Bird Park and Water Park that open summer time opposite the Park is one of Israel’s largest fun fairs. For a great view of Tel Aviv, go to the Azrieli observatory rising 49 floors over the city.
Tel Aviv Israel Museums
You will see in Tel Aviv 3 of Israel’s biggest museums offering contemporary and classical art to archaeology, history & sciences.
The Tel Aviv Museum of Art shows permanent and changing collections and exhibitions year around. The Museums show some of the best of Israeli art and sculpture as well as European impressionism and post impressionism art and European and American art of the 20th century can be found in the Tel Aviv Museum. The Eretz Israel Museum (the Land of Israel Museum) is actually a very large collection of museums in one location. Visit the glass museum, the museum of ceramics, coins and copper. The Planetarium is also located in the grounds.
The Jewish Diaspora Museum (beit Hatefusoth) situated in the grounds of Tel Aviv University is the first museum devoted to the history of the Jewish culture and Israelis. The permanent exhibition shows the visitor of the story of the Jewish nation in the Diaspora by means of drawings, video clips, movies, and much more. Independence hall Museum, on May 14th, 1948 David Ben Gurin read here Israel’s Declaration of Independence. The hall where it happened looks exactly as it did in 1948. There are other small museums around the Tel Aviv including Ben Gurion House, the Rubin Museum, the Palmach Museum.

Museum of Tel Aviv Israel
The Palmach Museum is a museum dedicated to the legacy of the Palmach and the retelling of that legacy to visitors through a narrative reenactment of the different stages of the organizations history: it’s foundation and training of its members, the struggle against the British Mandate, and the organization’s contribution to the underground immigration, and War of Independence efforts. The museum was founded in 2000 by the Palmach Generation Association, and was transferred to the division of museums at the Ministry of Defense following it completion. Every year of the IDF memorial day, a memorial service is held at the museum.
Bialik House is the home of Israel’s national poet, Hayim Nahman Bialik, located at 22 Bialik Street, near the Old City Hall. Bialik had a special connection with Tel-Aviv, where he settled in 1926, near the then-city hall. The house was built on a lot acquired with the proceeds of a special edition of his works. As well as writer, poet, translator, and editor, Bialik was a notable fixture of Tel Aviv society. As a society host, he would entertain ordinary people on Monday and Thursday afternoons. Bialik passed away in 1934, shortly leaving his Tel Aviv home. The house features paintings and sculptures by Israeli artist such as Nachum Gutman, Reuven Rubin, Chana Orloff and Shmuel Ovadyahu. In addition, the house boasts a mythic clock that plays the Israeli national anthem, HaTikvah, and the stroke of each hour.
Dizengoff House – Independence Hall is the home of Meir Dizengoff, the first mayor of Tel Aviv, and his wife, Zina. Located on 16 Rothschild Boulevard, it was one of the city’s first houses, and the place where David Ben-Gurion announced the establishment of the state of Israel. Later on the house accommodated the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, before it was moved to its present location. Today is houses a bible research institute.

Delta Air Lines is increasing passenger capacity between Israel and the United States by nearly 39 percent with the addition of Boeing 747-400 aircraft on its nonstop New York/Tel Aviv route. The 747 replaces the smaller 767-300ER aircraft and complements daily nonstop 777-200ER service to Atlanta. Since entering the Tel Aviv market in 2006, Delta has carried more than 870,000 customers between Israel and the United States. With the added seats on the New York route, Delta will offer more nonstop capacity between the United States and Israel than any of its U.S.-based competitors.
“Israel is an important market for Delta and the additional seats will provide our business and leisure customers with more options when flying to the United States, as well as boost inbound business and tourism,” said Perry Cantarutti, Delta’s Senior Vice President – Europe, Middle East and Africa. “We appreciate the continued loyalty of our customers who have contributed to the growth of our service between Israel and the United States during the past 4 years.”

Tel Aviv City, the city that never stops!
Tel Aviv offers a plethora of activities in the night: restaurants, music, bars culture, with yearly festivals and specially summer when it’s hot, with some people coming from all over the world to enjoy what Tel Aviv offers, it is no wonder it is called “the city that never stops.” It is true the city does not stop! At any hour of the day or night one can find people eating, dining, drinking coffee, having a good time dancing the night away in a night club, or going for a nice stroll at the scenic Neve Tzedek, the hype Port.
Tips for going out in Tel Aviv:
When: People in the city generally go out between 8 PM and 4 AM. Restaurants are usually open until at least 12 AM. Local dinner menus begin around 11 PM and bars around 9 PM. Dance bars clubs are full by 1 AM thru the night, therefore during the weekend starting Thursday make sure to have reservations or arrive early.
Age: Bars, clubs and dance bars check for ID. The age restrictions changes according to the each place or party, so call or check in advance.
Tipping: Tip waiters and bartenders as you would normally do in US. The official tipping rate is slightly lower in Israel, 12% is the official tipping rate.
Main areas for going out:
Florentin: Florentin offers a wide selection of cafes, restaurants and bars all within walking distance to the center of the neighborhood on Florentin Street. The streets may not always be well kept, but if you are looking for a casual night out Florentine is the place for you. A very stylish neighborhood in the south of Tel Aviv which attracts the younger crowd.
The Port: The Port offers a great stroll along the wooden boardwalk and a great night hang out with it’s variety of bars and restaurants open late for those whom choose to enjoy the night out at a local club. The port is a great spot during the weekends, and during week days, many places offer parties specifically for tourist crowds.
Neve Tzedek: The first Hebrew neighborhood in Tel Aviv, is know the most stylish place to live. Neve Tzedek is a collection of historical, small & picturesque houses. Because of its laid-back nature, you can find small bars and cafes along the narrow streets.
Yad harutzim: As you go south and enter the southern part of Tel Aviv. Venues become louder and larger! Yad Harutzim offers the cities biggest bars and night clubs, where the action starts around 12 AM and go late in to the night. You will also find great dinning, and restaurants for your palet.
Lilinblum & Nachlat Binyamin (Rothchild Quaters): A perfect location for bar hopping! Lilinblum & Nachlat, are the oldest nightlife area in Tel Aviv – where you will find yourself in front of another bar every step you take. This area offers you and friends the drinking “institutes” that have always been there for decades, and don’t seam to miss a beat and never go out of style.
Dizengoff & Ben Yehuda: Two popular streets in Tel Aviv, just a few more bars for you to visit. Bars are small and comfortable for locals, which you can guarantee they will be packed by 11 PM.
The beach: Hot! You can cool off during the summer, the beach takes a center spot in Tel Aviv life. Locals and tourist flock the sand to enjoy the sun and water during the day, and the beachfront bards and clubs during the night, starting at the port all the way to Jaffa.
