End your day standing in awe at the magnificent Sphinx carved out of a single piece of stone. Enjoy breakfast before check-out on your new day for your domestic departure flight from Cairo to Luxor, from here continue to embark on your cruise ship. Visit the East Bank, and experience the Luxor Temple standing in the center of the town of Luxor. It was built mainly by Amenophis III in the 18th Dynasty to demonstrate the power of this New Kingdom pharaoh. The Luxor Temple was dedicated to Amun, the God of Thebes, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu (the Moon God). One of the two obelisks which originally stood in front of the Temple is now in the Place de la Concorde in Paris; a gift from the Egyptians, in 1836. Proceed to the temple of Karnak, a pharaonic temple surpassing all others with over 100 acres devoted to the gods (enough land to accommodate ten large European cathedrals). For 13 centuries successive pharaohs added their share to make this the most magnificent temple complex in the country and in the entire ancient world. Karnak Temple is a complex of temples, obelisks, pylons, courts, colonnades, halls, reliefs and sanctuaries. The most famous part is the Hypostyle Hall which contains 134 columns. Karnak was the center of worship of the Sun God Amun. Your new day starts with an Egyptian breakfast, and a visit to the West Bank proceeding to the Valley of the Kings and Queens. Enter the tombs of The Great Pharoahs with exquisite colors on the walls still visible from thousands of years ago. You will spend time at the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari considered by many to be the finest building of antiquity in Egypt and certainly among the most impressive in the world. The temple is set in a great amphitheater and its three terraces echo the rock formations in the cliff behind. Continue to see the Colossi of Memnon, twin statues, faceless and mute, who sang at dawn, according to legend. Enjoy a lunch on board, and sail to Edfu. Enjoy breakfast on board, visit the Temple of Horus, considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, reflecting exact traditional pharaonic architecture, this temple is only second largest to Karnak. Visit the Greco-Roman temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Harories in Kom Ombo, after sail to Aswan for dinner and overnight on board. Visit the Aswan High Dam and the nearby granite quarries. View the enormous, unfinished Obelisk of Queen Hatshepsut. Next is the island of Philae to experience the exquisite gleaming white temple of Isis. Enjoy lunch on board to prepare for sailing. Board an Egyptian “felucca” (sailing boat), which glides along the Nile, passing Elephantine Island, Lord Ktchener’s Botanical Garden, and the incredible white marble Aga Khan Mausoleum. Relax with dinner on board and overnight in Aswan. The next day prepare to disembark after your Egyptian breakfast, transfer to Aswan airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Enjoy some leisure time in Cairo in preparation for your flight the following morning to North America, ready to prepare your next journey to the land of the Sun, Egypt. | |

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival into Cairo International Airport, you are met and assisted through passport and customs formalities by our airport representative and transferred to your hotel in Cairo for evening at leisure and overnight.
Day 3 - SUNDAY
Memphis / Sakkara / Pyramids of Giza / Great Spinx
Buffet breakfast, start the tour to visit the first capital of united Egypt, MEMPHIS, here you will see the temple of PTAH, the statue of Ramses II & An alabaster Sphinx, nearby visit one of the most exciting archaeological sites, SAKKARA, this necropolis is dominated by the step Pyramids of King Zoser, which predate the famous Pyramids at Giza by centuries and contain exquisite paintings depicting the file and customs of the early dynastic period. Continue to visit One of the Seven Wonders of the world, the Pyramids of Giza " CHEOPS, MEKERINUS & CHEPHREN " Your tour ends with a visit of the majestic Sphinx, which is the largest single block sculpture located at the foot of the grandest Pyramid Chephren. Return to the hotel, evening at leisure and overnight Cairo.
Day 4 - MONDAY
Luxor / East Bank
Buffet breakfast, Check-out and transfer to the Cairo Domestic airport for departure flight CAIRO/LUXOR. Arrival at Luxor airport, meet/assist and transfer to embark the cruise ship. Lunch on board, visit the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor temples, dinner on board and overnight Luxor.
Day 5 - TUESDAY
West Bank / Edfu
Breakfast on board, Visit the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut temple at Al Deir El Bahari and Colossi of Memnon, Lunch on board, sail to Edfu, dinner on board and overnight Edfu.
Day 6 - WEDNESDAY
Edfu / Aswan
Breakfast on board, visit the temple of Horus in Edfu, sail to Komombo, Lunch on board, visit the temple shared by the two gods, Sobek and Harories, sail to Aswan, dinner on board and overnight Aswan.
Day 7 - THURSDAY
High Dam / Aswan
Breakfast on board, visit the High dam, the Granite Quarries and Philae temple, Lunch on board, P.M felucca ride passing by the Botanical garden and Agha Khan Mausoleum, Dinner on board and overnight Aswan.

Aswan / Cairo
