Discover a place of mysteries and treasures of an ancient Egypt

Our Egypt Highlights Tour is an excellent tour to experience Egypt for a first time, providing great “highlights” of this legendary Middle East country. “Ahlan wa sahlan” are the traditional egyptian words of welcome & they are extended to you from our Egypt Tourism Consultant team, wishing that you will enjoy the days you will spend in sunny Egypt, a vast desert watered from end to end by the River Nile with its white-sailed feluccas, has unforgettable monuments of such magnitude, they need little introduction. Visitors come to marvel at eternal pyramids, the enigmatic shphinx, Cairo's historic mosques, towering obelisks, gigantic colossi, monumental temples, and richly painted tombs depicting everday life some 4000 years ago. The Greco historian Herodotus called Egypt "The Gift of the Nile", and it is from the Nile that travelers can best appreciated the beauty of the country and most easily explore its ancient monuments. Arrive in Cairo for overnight. Begin your tour with experiencing the Great Pyramid of Giza regarded by the ancient Greeks as one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Pyramids of Giza / Great Spinx / Museum of Antiquities Cairo
After buffet breakfast meet at the hotel’s lobby to explore desert antiquities dating from the beginnings of a civilization that arose more than 5,000 years ago. In the company of our Egyptologist specialist guide, we venture through the countryside to visit some of Egypt's oldest sights. We first visit the Moslem sector where you can see Salah El Din Citadel, followed by Mohamed Ali Mosque, from here the Pyramids of Giza. Nothing evokes the long and intriguing history of Egypt as powerfully as the pyramids. Rising from the desert, Khufu (Cheops), Khafra and Menkaura seem to symbolize the enigmatic tug of Egypt in our imaginations. The Great Pyramid of Cheops immortalizes the son of Sneferu and Hetepheres. Though little is known of this pharaoh, his monument, the largest of the three, is comprised of 2.3 million stone blocks, each weighing an average of 2.5 tons. We shall also visit the colossal statue of the Great Sphinx, which has stood guard over the pyramids for more than 4,500 years. Carved from an outcrop of rock, the Sphinx remains the ultimate symbol of Ancient Egypt with its lion’s body and human head. The history and the lifestyle of ancient Egyptian pharaohs come alive before our eyes through the skilled narrations of our specialist guide. Then we will visit the Museum of Antiquities in Cairo. The museum houses the greatest collection of pharaonic treasures in the world.
