The Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem
Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Matthew 33:57, Matthew 27, Matthew 28:10) in Jerusalem is identified as the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus. This large and complex church has long been a major pilgrimage center for Christians all around the world. Six denominations in and around the church are Christianity’s most ancient. Including the less known church of the Ethiopians, who trace their origins to Christianity back to Philip’s conversion on the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-34 ).
The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, or simply known as the Church of the Multiplication is a Catholic church situated in Tabgha along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It commemorates the miraculous feeding of five thousand people as mentioned in the Scriptures in Mark 6:30-44, right before Jesus walked on water.
Haifa’s terraced landscape offers a wealthy variety of beautiful panoramas. Northeast of the city, across crystal waters of the harbor lay’s the medieval fortress city of Acre with it’s impressive fortified walls. Just North, one can elevate to the heights of Rosh Hanikra, the white cliff, checkpoint on the Israel-Lebanon border, and further East towers Mount Hermon with snow capped peaks.
