Special visit to Magdala (Matt 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene — explore a 1st-century Jewish city and the oldest excavated synagogue in the Galilee from the time of Jesus. Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did 2,000 years ago. Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar — visit the Ancient Jesus Boat (2,000-year-old). Drive to the Golan Heights and Banias / Caesarea Philippi (Matt 16:13) — “On this rock I will build my Church.” Return to Yardenit on the Jordan River for the baptismal experience (Matt 3:13-17).

Ascend by cable car to Masada — the 1,500 ft mountaintop fortress, last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against the Romans. Visit the 1st-century Synagogue and King Herod’s Bathhouse. Continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul (1 Sam 23). Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947.
