The Jordan River, also knows as the River Jordan flows through the land of the Bible 156 miles draining it’s water in to the Dead Sea. Along the Jordan River you’ll find Yardenit, perhaps one of the most spiritual significant sites to visit during a Holy Land tour to Israel.

Acre
Located north of Mount Carmel, Acre is the main city port of the coastal plain. Historically Acre was strategically important in ancient times. The apostle Paul stop in the city on his 3rd missionary trip (Acts 21:7). Acre is known today for impressive Crusader remains, it’s beautiful bay, and picturesque domes and minarets.

Among many global achievements for Israel one has particular pride to many scholars. The recognition of six Israeli sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)’s World Heritage List. The Israeli sites had to meet UNESCO’s strict criteria to be included on the 830 prestigious sites around the world. Israel has great pride of it’s heritage and protects and fosters these UNESCO sites to ensure the availability of them for future generations.

The Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, or simply known as the Church of the Multiplication is a Catholic church situated in Tabgha along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It commemorates the miraculous feeding of five thousand people as mentioned in the Scriptures in Mark 6:30-44, right before Jesus walked on water.

One of the life changing highlights during a tour to the Holy Land is Masada, the amazing Israeli fortress constructed by King Herod the Great around of 37 and 31 BCE, and later utilized and sustained by Israeli hold-outs against the Roman Empire in 73 CE.
