Welcome to Israel. On arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport, our representatives meet and assist you. Transfer to your hotel in Tel Aviv — Israel’s largest modern city. Your hotel is conveniently close to the Mediterranean shore and Tel Aviv’s lively city center. Time permitting, visit the artistic neighborhood of Neve Tzedek.

Morning visit to Old Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest port cities where cedars arrived to build Solomon’s Temple (2 Chr 2:16) and where Peter raised Tabitha from the dead (Acts 9:36-43). Drive north to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 9:30; 10:24-48), Roman capital of Judea. Visit the excavations, Roman theatre and aqueduct. Stop at Mount Carmel where Elijah challenged the False Prophets (1 Kings 18:16-24). Continue to Megiddo / Armageddon (Revelation 16) and visit the archaeological excavations. Drive through the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth, view from Mt. Precipice (Luke 4:29-30), and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation. Continue to Cana of Galilee where Jesus turned water into wine (John 2), then arrive at the beautiful Sea of Galilee, Tiberias.

Special visit to Magdala (Matt 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene, with the oldest excavated synagogue in the Galilee from Jesus’ time. Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did 2,000 years ago. Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar and visit the Ancient Jesus Boat — a 2,000-year-old vessel from the time of Jesus.

Drive to the Golan Heights and visit Banias / Caesarea Philippi (Matt 16:13-18) where Jesus said “On this rock I will build my Church.” Continue to the Hula Valley, then to Yardenit on the Jordan River where believers celebrate Jesus’ baptism (Matt 3:13-17).

Visit the Mount of Beatitudes (Matt 5-8) where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, and the historic Church of the Beatitudes chapel. Visit Tabgha — site of the Feeding of the 5,000 (John 21), Church of Multiplication with its 4th-century mosaic floor. Continue to Capernaum (Matt 4:13) — Jesus’ home and ministry center, where Peter’s mother-in-law was healed (Luke 4:38-40).

Drive through the Beit She’an Valley (Mark 5:20) and view the archaeological site. Continue through the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea. Check in at the Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel and receive in-room spa gift products. Swim and float on the lowest point on earth.

Ascend by cable car to Masada — the 1,300-ft mountaintop fortress, last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion. Discover the first-century Synagogue and King Herod’s Bathhouse. Continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi where David hid from Saul (1 Sam 23), then to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947.

Continue to the Golden City of Jerusalem. Panoramic view from Mount Scopus and a moment for prayer. Check in at your hotel, within walking distance of the Old City.

From the top of the Mount of Olives (Acts 1) view across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate (Ezekiel 43). Visit Dominus Flevit — “The Lord wept” (Luke 19:41-44). Descend Palm Sunday Road to Gethsemane (Mark 14:32) where 2,000-year-old olive trees from the time of Christ still stand. Visit the Western Wall and Western Wall Tunnels. Continue to St. Anne Church and Pool of Bethesda (John 5). Walk all 14 Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, concluding at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (Matt 27). Afternoon free for the bazaars. Shabbat dinner at the hotel.

Begin at Mount Zion — visit the Upper Room (Luke 22), Lord’s Supper site, King David’s Tomb, and walk the Jewish Quarter. Drive through the New City past the Knesset. Continue to Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist (Luke 1:57-80), and the Church of the Visitation commemorating Mary’s visit to Elizabeth (Luke 1:39-56). Continue to Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity (Matt 2:1-5) and the Shepherd’s Field (Luke 2:8-20). In the afternoon, visit The Garden Tomb for prayer and celebration of the Resurrection (1 Cor 15). Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Enjoy a free morning in Jerusalem. After breakfast, check out by noon and store luggage at the hotel. Visit Yad Vashem, the Israel Museum, Ben Yehuda Street, or Machane Yehuda market at your own pace. Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport per your flight schedule.

After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Topkapi Palace — primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for approximately 400 years, with its treasures and terraces overlooking the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn. Continue to the Blue Mosque (Sultan Ahmed Mosque), recognized worldwide by its six minarets and decorated with 21,043 Iznik tiles. Visit the magnificent Hagia Sophia — a great architectural beauty and important monument of both the Byzantine and Ottoman empires. Conclude the day exploring the Grand Bazaar — one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world with over 3,000 shops.
