The lowest spot on earth, and a natural health spa, the Dead Sea is one site you don't want to miss! The surface of the Dead Sea is over 1,300 feet below sea level. The very bottom of the sea, in the deepest part, is over 2,300 feet below sea level. The Dead Sea has some of the most saline water on earth; as much as 35% of the water is dissolved salts. That's almost 6 times as salty as the ocean. The Dead Sea is completely landlocked and it gets saltier with increasing depth.

Itinerary
Day 1

Drive through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. Roadside view of Qumran caves (visit not included) where the dead sea scrolls were found; Visit a dead sea cosmetic products shop. Stop for relaxation at one of the resorts on the shores of the Dead Sea; enjoy the opportunity to float in the Dead Sea and cover yourself with the mineral, rich, therapeutic Dead Sea mud.

Day 1

Drive through the judean desert and enjoy a roadside view of the Good Samaritan Inn . After a short stop at sea-level for a panoramic view, continue to Jericho, the oldest city in the world.
Stop to see Zacchaeus Sycamore fig tree and proceed for an overview of Mount of Temptation. Visit the Mount of ancient Jericho where 25 ancient cities were uncovered. (*cable car not included) Proceed to the city of Bethlehem; Visit the Church of the Nativity and Manger's square; Stop for an overview of Shepherds' field and return to Jerusalem.

The Galilee perhaps the most beautiful region in Israel is divided in to two main parts, Upper Galilee to the north and Lower Galilee to the south. It is in the Galilee where Jesus begins his ministry and finds his disciples, and Capernaum-referred as Jesus “own town” (Matthew 9:1) by the Sea of Galilee where Jesus made many miracles.

Itinerary

Day 1
Enjoy a lovely day traveling at the outstanding landscape of the lower Galilee. Depart Tel-Aviv via the coastal road and the landscape of lower Galilee, or depart from Jerusalem and join the tour from Tel-Aviv, on to Caesarea, the ancient Roman Capital and Port, walking tour of the theatre and archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa. scenic view of city, port and Bahai Gardens. Continue via Nahariya to Rosh Hanikra to visit the limestone grottoes on the border with Lebanon. Return and visit UNESCO World Heritage site of Acre and see the Crusader and Turkish Underground City and crypt. Walk through the Old City and oriental market, the Arab Mosque and the Old Port. After return to point of departure to rest at your hotel.
Overnight in a Kibbutz in the Galilee.

Day 2
We'll begin our second day of touring traveling to Nazareth, the town where Jesus spent his childhood. Visit the Church of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. Continue via Kana, and proceed to the beautiful resort town of Tiberias. After driving along the Sea of Galilee- lake Kinneret to visit Capernaum and view the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the miracle of Feeding of the 5000 with the multiplication of the fish and loaves, located at the foot of the Golan Heights. Continue to Yardenit- the baptismal site on the Jordan River, the river where John the Baptist baptized Jesus, and where the Jordan River exits the Sea of Galilee towards the Dead Sea. After return to Tel Aviv or Jerusalem to your point of departure.

We are glad to introduce to you special hiking and adventure "Jesus Trail" tours, which include 5 nights accommodation and 5 hiking days. The tours are available either on self guided or guided basis. The Jesus Trail is a 37 Mile (61 kilometer) hiking trail in the Galilee region of Israel which connects important sites from the life of Jesus as well as other historical and religious sites. The Jesus Trail offers an alternative for travelers and pilgrims to experience the steps of Jesus in a way that is authentic, adventurous and educational by hiking through the rugged and beautiful landscape of the Galilee in Israel.

Note: The Jesus Trail Tour requires hiking, backpacking, and other outdoor activities related to traveling on foot through wilderness as well as populated areas and roads, all of which have potential hazard involving risk of injury or death. Each person participating in this tour needs to understand the risk involved, obtain necessary training and take the needed precautions. It is strongly emphasized that the wilderness can be a dangerous place and no one should undertake any hike described on the Jesus Trail without recognizing and personally assuming the associated risks. You alone are responsible for determining if you should attempt any of the hikes on the tour. Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival Day
Arrive in Nazareth in the evening and settle into the tranquil old-world ambiance of the Fauzi Azar Inn, a restored 18th-century Arab mansion, replete with painted ceilings and marble floors. Relax with sweet mint tea in the common room and meet other travelers. Upon check-in you will be issued vouchers, entrance tickets, luggage tags, etc. and will arrange a time for your personalized orientation session with a Jesus Trail Tours staff member. Take the opportunity to enjoy dinner at one of Nazareth’s many fine restaurants on your own. Meals included: breakfast.

Day 2 - Nazareth
Start your day with a fresh and healthy Arabic breakfast and a leisurely coffee before setting out to explore old city Nazareth. Wander the meandering old city streets, breathe in the smell of spices, soak in history and spirituality at ancient churches, and haggle for souvenirs in the historic marketplace. Enjoy some free time to explore and grab lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, walk to Nazareth Village for a Parable Walk through a recreation of 1st century Nazareth, complete with houses, a synagogue, terraced farmland, and an olive press all authentically recreated in 1st century style. Enjoy dinner at one of Nazareth’s many fine restaurants on your own. Meals included: breakfast.

Day 3 - Nazareth to Cana – 13.5 km (+3km to visit Zippori National Park)
Eat a traditional Arabic breakfast of fresh pita bread, salads, cheeses and eggs. Carry water and a packed lunch with you– the rest of your luggage will be transferred to your accommodations. Ascend out of the old city and walk through calm pastoral fields to Zippori National Park to visit the archeological ruins of the main administrative city in the Galilee at the time of Jesus. Admire the exquisite Byzantine mosaics, drink in the view from atop the Crusader fortress, and take a stroll through the ancient cistern system. Take a lunch break and refill your water before returning to the trail through the small village of Mashhad to arrive at Cana of Galilee, traditional site of Jesus’ first miracle. Take a rest and have a snack at Cana Wedding B&B before visiting the Orthodox and Catholic churches commemorating the water to wine miracle. Eat a home-cooked meal with your hosts. Meals included: breakfast and dinner. Note: some sections of this day have domestic and industrial trash along the trail; cleanup efforts are in progress.

Day 4 - Cana to Kibbutz Lavi – 14.4 km
Arise early for a hearty breakfast and do some stretching before ascending out of Cana to walk along a forest ridge with peaceful valley views. Stop for a break in a pleasantly shaded forest. Visit a nearby ancient Roman road (5 min from route), part of the Via Maris which connected the Mediterranean to the Sea of Galilee. Walk up a pleasant hill dotted with ruins, to arrive at Kibbutz Lavi, one of very few religious Jewish kibbutzim in the country. Enjoy the swimming pool and peaceful grounds and a kosher buffet in the dining room. Meals included: breakfast and dinner. Note: some sections of this day have domestic and industrial trash along the trail; cleanup efforts are in progress.

Day 5 - Kibbutz Lavi to Moshav Arbel – 16.1 km
Eat breakfast and head out across agricultural fields to ascend the Horns of Hattin– a volcanic structure where a famous Crusader battle took place. Relish your first glimpse of the Sea of Galilee and the sweeping views into Arbel Valley. Continue down the rocky hillside to Nebi Shu’eib, the holiest shrine for the Druze religion. Visit the tomb of Jethro, father-in-law of Moses, and take a break at the picnic area. Don’t forget to refill your water bottle! After lunch, continue on the trail through Arbel Valley past ancient olive groves and the ruins of Hattin village. Rise out of the valley to Moshav Arbel, where you will stay in charming rustic cabins and eat dinner at the highly-rate on-site restaurant. Meals included: breakfast and dinner.

Day 6 - Kibbutz Lavi to Moshav Arbel – 16.1 km
Start early for the stunning morning light from Arbel Cliffs. Carefully descend the steep trail down the mount, passing ancient cliff dwellings and caves. Drink from the fresh spring at Wadi Hamam before continuing to Tabgha via rolling agricultural land. Explore the mosaics at Tabgha, the traditional site of the feeding of the 5,000. Continue around the northern side of the Sea of Galilee to visit the church of St. Peter. Ascend a small ridge to visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the traditional site of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Finish your journey at Capernaum by wandering the ruins of the city that was the center of Jesus’ ministry, and spending a moment of prayer in the church built over the home of Simon Peter. Meet the shuttle for transportation to Tiberias, which has many accommodation options and further transport connections. Meals included: breakfast. Itinerary
Day 1

After picking-up from hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, stop at Mount of Scopus for a magnificent and breathtaking view of the Old and New cities illuminated. Drive through the New City passing by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament house and the Israel museum. Enter Old City through Jaffa Gate and the local bazaar for brief visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. At around 8:00 pm, proceed to the city of Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus. After a short stop in a souvenir store for tea, coffee and shopping, continue to the Shepherds' field. Walk through Manger's square enjoying the Christmas decorations illuminating the city’s main square and the remarkable Church of the Nativity. Stop at a local restaurant specially decorated for the holidays and enjoy a festive Christmas dinner (wine & soft drinks included); watch the Midnight Mass broadcasted live on TV; if mass is broadcasted on screens at Manger Square (subject to Palestinian authority’s approval) proceed to Manger Square. After Mass return to the meeting point with our representative and drive back to Jerusalem, Herzliya and Tel Aviv hotels.
